Samrin Parvin spent most of her childhood in Chittagong. She came to the United States in 2005 and has been living in Florida since then. She finished her high school in 2010 and got her associates degree from Broward College. Later, she transferred to Florida Atlantic University where she is seeking for her BFA in Painting. Her paintings are about empty spaces and have dream like settings. She wants people to feel mesmerized by the way she paints, to embrace her artwork and to see her paintings the way she sees them. Furthermore, she has presented her artwork in the Potter’s Gilt show where she displayed and sold her ceramic pieces. Her artwork was also chosen twice for the Broward College student exhibitions and has been featured in Broward College Panku Magazine three times. In the future, she aspires to feature more of her artwork in different shows and exhibition.
