Chinelo Marius I started out as a cartoonist. So, naturally, I enjoy creating various, interesting characters. I’ve drawn unique characters and fictional locations since I was kid and, so far, there’s nothing I like doing more. I’ve had a history of getting together with my friends as kidsand working to create vast worlds to tell crazy stories. To this day, much of my art still reflects this. Much of my inspiration comes from real world events, though I never try to recreate or retell them through my art as I prefer creating my own world for things to happen in. I tend to favor doing quick, but detailed, pencil sketches as this is the best way for me to get my ideas across. I also like to draw the same characters many times in different positions and from different perspectives as this allows me to get a better grasp of my characters and who they are. I flesh out my characters and their personalities this way and this contributes to the comics that I draw and the stories that I write. Through this, I grow as an artist and I plan to keep growing as I learn more about the world.
